Physical Therapy

You may schedule a PT session without a referral from another medical provider (Medicare beneficiaries are only eligible for Wellness and Yoga Sessions per Medicare rules). Sessions include: an initial evaluation by a licensed physical therapist to assess vitals, pain, range of motion, flexibility, strength and other special tests to address your specific concerns, goals, care plan, & diagnosis. Follow up treatment sessions include hands-on manual interventions that may include joint and soft tissue mobilization, cupping, dry needling, pain reduction strategies, corrective posture, balance training, movement as medicine, progress assessments, and education for home exercises to enhance your recovery. Consider attending PT 1-2 times weekly for 6-8 weeks to create physiological change in the body. You will discuss agreeable treatment options with your PT during your evaluation.

Wellness Sessions are designed to help guide you on your pursuit of becoming more active and improve lifestyle choices that lead to a state of holistic health and well-being in body, mind, and spirit. We all have self-responsibility for our choices, behaviors, and lifestyles. Wellness necessitates good self-stewardship, for ourselves and for those we care about in order to live fully. Awaken Wellness is here to guide you into a wellness lifestyle and a personalized approach to living a life that allows you to become the best kind of person you choose to be.
